So happy to be sharing with you this song from a magical, timeless journey on the Island of Maui <3
I wrote this song on the sailboat as we drifted back in to the harbour, 3 days before leaving my new paradise home, and then recorded it in a serendipitous meeting with a new friend in San Francisco on my 12 hour stop over.
These images hold such precious memories for me, a time of deepest happiness, transformation and peace... and the most powerful connection with Mama Nature i have ever known.
I made my Full Moon Whale Medicine Drum just a few days before leaving the UK, especially to sing with the whales.
These clips in the boat capture a moment when i began singing to empty waters and a few minutes later a mama and baby whale appeared and swam alongside us, responding to the sounds.
"I offer flowers to your Waters, with petals of the heart may you always be protected"

Capo 3 (or where ever it feels comfortable for your voice. Men you might find it good without a capo)
C – Em – G – D
(except in the ‘I’m going under’ chorus replace D with Bm)
- the recording has slightly differing lyrics as it was only a couple of days old when I recorded it and I got some of the words wrong! Fresh!

Painting visions on the horizon
Waves keep coming, we keep on dreaming
Painting visions for our children
Tides keep dancing, we keep on singing

I’m going under to sing with the whales
Beneath the crashing waves, oh the beauty of your grace
I’m going under where freedom can be found
Singing in the deep blue, swimming in your sound
Creatures of the deep Ayeye Aye

Oh the water goes deep and the winds grow strong
To carry this love, to guide us home

I’m going under…
Creatures of the deep Ayeye aye

I offer flowers to your waters
With petals of the heart may you always be protected
I offer flowers on your ocean alter
With petals of forgiveness may we all remember
These creatures of the deep ayeye aye
X lots ☺
